Attendees registration starts!
We have just started the registration for this year's conference. What's new? In general we have introduced some changes to make the participation in the event more affordable.
First of all there will be no division for two kind of conference passes - full and lite one like it was last year. Instead there will be one single pass, but we have put a lot of effort in order to make the pass price as low as possible. Students can register already from 150 PLN (around 35 EUR) and for the rest, who will get the early bird pass, the price 200 PLN (around 47 EUR) applies. Moreover there is a special offer regarding conference passes to both Polish Linux Users Group and Openmobility members.
In attendee's package, besides gadgets and stuff from sponsors, on each day of the conference there are lunches and other refreshments during breaks included. We encourage you to register early, because it's connected with lower conference fee. In case you want to ask us any questions feel free to send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Call for Proposals is open!
We are starting to gather talk proposals for this year's edition of SmartDevCon. As in the previous year, we are looking forward to talk topics that correspond well with smart and mobile solutions areas. For details see our conference scope, but keep in mind that topics are not strictly limited to the themes listed.
People, whose proposals will be accepted, will not only receive free pass to the conference, but will also get a hotel accommodation including board. In addition to that accepted speakers may apply for aid covering their transport expenses.
In order to send us your proposal head on to submission form. We generally prefer and recommend talks in the English language. It is also possible to provide more than one talk proposal per person. Submission period will last till the end of June.
First media patronages!
We are happy to announce that we already have two media patronages.
First one is popular Polish blog jestem.mobi about mobile solutions and mobile marketing, led by Monika Mikowska. Monika is also a co-founder and CEO of a mobile agency called Mobee Dick.
Our second patronage is OSnews.pl - a Polish community news portal focusing on hardware, software and other IT technology connected subjects. One of our Program Committee members - Maciej Wilgucki is an active editor there at OSnews.
Our new website has launched!
We are happy to announce that our new website is up and running. We hope you will really like our new design. Big thanks go to Megiteam for an excellent and flawless hosting of the conference website.
